ETHICAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE EDITORIAL BOARD
The Editorial Board makes the final decision on the publication of an article/review in the Journal. The Editorial Board of the Journal is responsible for the proper presentation of scientific materials to the academic community, as well as for checking submitted materials for plagiarism using appropriate systems.
All materials, after preliminary evaluation by the Editorial Board, undergo independent anonymous double-blind peer review. The Editorial Board ensures confidentiality and impartiality of the review process.
The Editorial Board undertakes to provide the Author with Reviewers who carry out their reviewing duties in a timely and unbiased manner.
The Editorial Board does not influence Reviewers’ decisions.
If both a positive and a negative review of a manuscript are received, the Chief Editor appoints an additional Reviewer. A negative review is considered by the Editorial Board, which makes the final decision.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to decline, after preliminary consideration, the submission of materials for review if the manuscript is improperly prepared, does not meet basic scientific criteria (e.g., article length, plagiarism, re-publication, etc.).
The Journal publishes information on financial support for scientific research.
- If the Chief Editor finds strong evidence of the fallacy of the conclusions provided in the work, plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication of data, he/she informs the Author and the Publisher of a decision to be made on publication of corrections, clarifications, apologies, or retractions, if necessary.
- The Editorial Board publishes in open access on the website the current Guidelines for Authors and Reviewers.
- The Editorial Board and the Publisher take appropriate measures to resolve conflicts in the event of a complaint or claim of ethical violation regarding the submitted manuscript or published article.
- Articles are reviewed on their content regardless of the Authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political views.
- Articles that do not comply with the Journal’s scope and publication requirements, are submitted to other scientific publications, or contain previously published research results are rejected.
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit articles while preserving the Author’s main arguments, conclusions, and style.
- The Editorial Board adheres to copyright protection.
- The Editorial Board considers all cases of violation of research ethics, conflicts of interest (between Author and Reviewer / Author and other parties), and plagiarism.
- The Editorial Board maintains confidentiality regarding the authorship of reviewed articles and the information therein.
- The Chief Editor and members of the Editorial Board must not disclose to third parties any information about a manuscript under consideration, except to those involved in its scientific evaluation. After a positive decision of the Chief Editor, the article is published in the Journal.
- In case of disputes, the Editorial Board acts in accordance with the COPE Recommendations on publication ethics violations: https://publicationethics.org.
