AUTHORSHIP AND CO-AUTHORSHIP
The Authorship and Co-Authorship policy of the Journal Linguistic and Conceptual Worldviews is based on the rules and recommendations of COPE.
One of the mandatory conditions for accepting multi-authored manuscripts for publication is a clear outline of each Author’s contribution to the research. In every article, Authors’ Contributions must be specified as a separate section.
According to CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy), information about Authors’ contributions must be provided under the following criteria:
- Conceptualization. Ideas; formulation or evolution of broad-based research goals and aims.
- Formal analysis. Application of statistical, mathematical, computational, or other formal techniques to analyze or synthesize empirical research data.
- Software. Programming, software development; designing computer programs.
- Methodology. Development or design of methodology; creation of models.
- Data validation. Verification of the reproducibility of results/experiments and other research outputs.
- Writing (original draft). Preparation of the initial article version (draft).
- Writing (review and editing). Making substantial changes and additions to the article.
For example:
Authors’ Contributions: Name, Last Name — conceptualization, methodology; Name, Last Name — software, formal analysis; Name, Last Name — data validation, writing (original draft); Name, Last Name — writing (review and editing).
Individuals who participated in the research but do not meet the criteria above cannot be considered Co-authors. Research participants who assisted by giving advice, providing research facilities, or financial support, etc. must be listed as Participants or Consultants.
The list of Authors must not be changed after the article has been submitted to the Editorial Board.
The order of Authors must be based on a joint decision of all Co-Authors as to the significance of each Author’s contribution.
The Editorial Board fully relies on the Co-Authors’ responsibility when determining their respective contributions.
