МОДЕЛІ УКРАЇНСЬКОГО ПЕРЕКЛАДУ АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНИХ ЦІЛЬНИХ КОНСТРУКЦІЙ (НА МАТЕРІЯЛІ ЗАГОЛОВКІВ ТЕКСТІВ НОВИН)

Анотація

Мета статті – виокремити моделі українського перекладу цільних англійськомовних конструкцій на матеріялі українських тлумачень заголовків ВВС. Цільні конструкції – це незмінне в межах певної мови поєднання форми та функції / значення, вкорінене в довгостроковій пам’яті людини. Задля досягнення поставленої мети залучено конструкційну методологію, що складається з відбірково-порівняльного, класифікаційного та кореляційного етапів; метод порівняльно-перекладознавчого аналізу, застосований для зіставлення цільних конструкцій оригіналу й тлумачення, а також виокремлення моделей перекладу українською мовою. У статті вперше встановлено, що цільні конструкції англійськомовних заголовків BBC News передають українською за чотирма головними моделями: пониження статусу латинізованої цільної конструкції в перекладі; розширення латинізованої конструкції в тлумаченні; лексикалізації або граматикалізації кириличного відповідника оригіналу у відтворенні. За моделі пониження в перекладі статусу латинізованованої цільної конструкції оригіналу її без змін переміщують до вступу або різних секцій українськомовного варіянту новинного тексту. За моделі розширення латинізовану цільну конструкцію оригіналу в тлумаченні поповнюють одним або кількома елементами, представленими онімами або прикладкою. За моделі лексикалізації еквівалент цільної конструкції оригіналу доповнюють в перекладі одним змінним складником, який зазвичай представлено антропонімом на позначення відомої особи, або заміщують лексикалізованою конструкцією з узагальненим значенням. За моделі граматикалізації цільну конструкцію оригіналу в позиції тематичного класифікатора, призначеного для орієнтування англійськомовної авдиторії, утім відсутнього на українськомовній версії сайту, відтворюють граматикалізованим відповідником зі значенням ВМІСТИЩА.
